Changing instrument from Piano to Classical Guitar Octave jump !
I created a score with a piano instrument. I copied the score with Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C. Then quit out of the
score and started a new score. The default was piano. So I went into instruments and added Classical
guitar and deleted piano.
Then after adding beat, title etc. I pasted the score from the piano into the new empty sheet.
All the notes were changed by moving them up an octave.
Why ? How do I paste and not have the notes changed by jumping up an octave ?

Think of guitar as a transposing instrument. Anyway, select the whole part and hit CTRL+down arrow.

Which is how it should be. Classical Guitar is written an octave up from what it sounds.

Unless it is notated in a treble clef ottava bassa, a regular treble clef with a little 8 below it.

Thank you so much, I thought I was going to have to re-enter the entire score. If any of you are
brave enough to come to Texas USA with 106 F heat. I'm buying the BBQ and beer for all.
