D isn't playing D. F isn't playing F. Everything has wrong pitch.

Hi,

just wanted to get on paper some of my work and decided to try MuseScore, as it seems very solid for a good price :) I'll jump to the point.

There's something really off with the instruments playback - I mean every notes' sound is transposed somewhere between 2> and 2 up (like it's detuned). So when I write D it sounds like detuned D#. When I write F it sounds like detuned F#. I tried different keys, different instruments, different I/O settings, turning off my MIDI keyboard but nothing seems to work, the issue is still present no matter what.

How to fix it? I am attaching an example, though I doubt it'll help as it seems like some internal issue here... I really count on you! Thank you very much in advance.

Disconnect your keyboard and start MU4 and input notes with a mouse. see what happens

BTW, how were you determining that the pitches were off? Are you certain your keyboard isn't off?

Disconnecting helped. I thought that switching midi input to "off" in preferences would equal disconnecting. Thank you! Cannot play and input notes through the keyboard (as it's plugged out) but it isn't really an issue for me. And if I'll look for the solution in the future, I know it's somewhere in midi drivers.

Thank you!
