Instrument sounds randomly sound bad
When I got Musescore 4, I downloaded all of the free instrument sounds and everything sounded really awesome and impressive, but for some reason when I come back to past scores that previously sounded great, the instruments sound more dated and harsh. I thought maybe I had to re-download all the plugins but it says I have them downloaded it's just not playing in the scores randomly.

For one of those past scores, open the mixer and see what sounds are being used. My guess is that the Mixer says MSBasic for each one. You will need to change each one to Muse Sounds.
