PDF score exports have a box around bass clefs
Whenever I export a score (with a piano part) to pdf, the score exports with these black boxes around every bass clef. I don't see this until I export the score, and it seems to be an issue with all my files right now. I attached some examples. Any idea what's wrong? I'm not very well versed with musescore so any help would be greatly appreciated!

If I believe a thread on the French forum (https://musescore.org/fr/node/355249, see e.g. first attached pic - an below on this comment), this happens with version 3, and following an update of Mac OS? Agree with that?
However, it's as expected with V4.

This works, thank you so much! I updated my mac and I was trying to export from musescore 3, I just used musescore 4 and the problem was gone. Thank you!
How are you exporting? Using a third party virtual pdf printer often causes problems.
File>Export should work ok.
By chance MuseScore 3.6.x, Musical font Leland, Mac and HP laserJet via AirPrint?
If so see #316152: Some characters do not print from Leland on certain printer drivers on Mac
When I open the app a box comes up saying there is a new version of MuseScore. it is listed as 4.0.0r.5485621
I clicked on it...it downloaded...when I went to open it I was asked to move it into Applications. When I did that it asked if I wanted to replace what I had with this older version. This is not making sense.

4.1.1 is the currently latest version
