Concatenate multiple mscz files into a single mscz

Is it possible to concatenate multiple mscz files into a single mscz file?

(There is a weirdness in that one could swap catenate or merge with concatenate in the above sentence!)

If it's possible - what a the steps?

I play classical guitar. I'm new to MuseScore.

Here is the plan:

1, PDF scan, import 16 songs - each between 20 to 40 measure long into Musescore.
2. After the import modify measures where notes and rests don't add up.
3. Add a 10 second playback-gap between files. (Any suggestions on how to do this?)
4. Export the final one-file mscz as a wave file
5. Import the wave file into iTunes
6. Load the wave file to an iTouch
7. Load the wave file into The Amazing Slowerdowner

The final result will allow me to play guitar along with the wave recording and adjust the speed.
And make playing along part of my daily practice for a few days.

Comments

  1. It depends on what format the songs are in. I.E. are they piano scores or a mixture of instruments. It can be done if the songs all are different, but for a first project in unfamiliar software it's much easier if they are the same.
  2. This is a challenge for anyone. The more simple and clear the PDF, the better. There can be many, many steps needed.
  3. I would make one long score with blank measures in between songs.
