Palm Mute only for 2nd voice?

Hi, I usually note a guitar with thumb (bass) notes in the 2nd voice and the other fingers (treble) in the 1st voice. Also usually, palm mute only applies to the thumb, e.g. in Travis picking.

Is it possible to assign the palm mute only to one voice (e.g. 2nd voice) in a guitar staff, and have it played back for the notes in that particular voice only?

Not currently. You can fake it by adding a second instrument with a hidden staff, and placing the palm mute notes there, then turn off the playback of the corresponding notes on the main staff.
