Playback
Why do I have to change the buffer size in preferences so I can hear the playback each time I open musescore 4.1.1, this is tiresome and was not necessary with previous versions.

It might be worth it to hit the "Reset Preferences" button in the lower left of that window. Then select the buffer you want and hit "OK". Restart MU4. Good luck.
Or do a factory reset of MU4, from the help tab.
