Unable to print a PDF which was created by exporting a score to a PDF file.
HI, I am having trouble printing a score which I exported to PDF format from within MuseScore 4. Clicking on the PDF file saved to my hard drive, Adobe starts, and opens the score without any problem. When I choose to print the score, the print dialog pops up, and I set print options as I normally would. But when I click "Print," I get an error message saying simply, "The document could not be printed." When I click, "OK," another message pops up saying simply, "There were no pages selected to print." I've never seen these error messages before in any other application, so I'm curious to know what I'm doing wrong.

If you could post the PDF file here, many of us could open it and see if it will print, or possibly diagnose the issue. Also, are you using Acrobat Reader or a full version of Acrobat (and if so, which version number)

Thanks for that suggestion - I should have thought that through better. 🙁
Here is the PDF file. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro, Build: 23.1.20177.0. The problem is not simply with this score. The same thing happens with any score which has been exported to PDF. It opens fine in Adobe, but won't print. I can print the score, however, direct from MuseScore 4.1.1.

Your PDF also prints fine for me, and I am using obsolete Acrobat 2017. Since you can print fine from Musescore, and since others can print your file using different Acrobat programs, that pretty much rules out Musescore as the problem. The most likely cause is a corruption in your Acrobat installation or some conflict with perhaps a plugin or something specific to your computer. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat.
Edit: With some quick Google searching I came up with these three links. Curious if you are on a Mac, as this error seems to be more common with that OS.

FWIW, I just made a PDF from MU4, and it printed fine in Acrobat Reader. Are you able to print a score using the print function in MU4?
