How to copy and paste 2nd voice notes into 2nd voice measures?
I have a repeating series of notes that I need to enter into every measure in the 2nd voice.
I've entered those notes into the first measure in the 2nd voice. I'd like to simply copy and paste those notes into all the other measures, but Musescore has not intuitive way to do this. I can select the notes and copy them, but selected the other measures and doing a paste has no effect.
How do I copy and paste 2nd voice notes into other measures in the 2nd voice?

Use the selection filter when copying
Yes, this is a problem. If you use the selection filter and uncheck voice 1, you can't select measures to insert notes from other voices to insert. In my opinion, this is a design flaw of the program.
I assume that you have already written notes of voice 1 in the other measures. Then you can use the selection filter, uncheck voice 1 and select only the notes of voice 2 of the first measure. The notes of voice 1 remain unselected. Then, instead of copying and pasting, use the 'R' key repeatedly to repeat the notes of voice 2 in the following measures.
Another method would be to create a voice 2 in each measure and fill it with a rest in voice 2, for example. Then copy & paste is possible, together with the selection filter because elements (here: rests) of voice 2 already exists there and so these measures can be selected to paste notes.
And a third method: add the same instrument just below. Write there the notes in voice 1 and finally select the measures of both staves and use Tools -> Implode. The notes of the second stave will be copied to the first stave as voice 2. Finally you can delete this second instrument.
If no voice 1 notes already written your can directly use 'R'. Or write these notes first in voice 1, copy and paste them and then use Tools -> Voices -> Exchange voice 1 and 2.
You can see: MuseScore has many ways to achieve the result, some are a bit tricky. I hope one of the tips helps you.
(All this works in MuS 3 as described)
See:

and especially note this last sentence:
"For example, if you wish to copy and paste only voice 2, make your range selection, use the Selection Filter to exclude voice 1, use Edit→Copy or Ctrl+C, then restore the checkbox next to voice 1 before attempting to select the destination to paste."

Yes, indeed, another method.

What's more, it's inaccurate to say and write (as everyone has been repeating since for ages, including the Handbook) that unchecking Voice1 in the Selection Filter would prohibit any copy-paste operation to another destination.
It's true, the measure is no longer selectable, so everyone thinks it's a failure, that it's impossible to do.
But rest (rests) are always selectable.
So it's perfectly possible to copy-paste voice 2 excluding voice 1. See:

Yes, I didn't know that either.
But since you usually select a measure as the target for insertion, this leads to these false assumptions.
