Text Frame Windows 10 Musescore 4.2.1 SOLVED

• Jan 26, 2024 - 10:34

TLDR
Problems with (text)frame solved by reverting to factory settings.

On version:
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.2.1-240230937, revision: d757433

So Musescore doesn't crash anymore when adding a (text)frame.
Now I'm facing the problem that I don't see the frame when editing.

Am I the only one with this problem?
Is this a Windows 10 problem?
Will there be a problem in the long run when I go back to an older version?

Kind regards,
AJ

I cannot reproduce here (Windows 10, version 4.2.1)

A new installation will probably not help and should not be carried out first. This is because many settings are saved in separate locations and are not necessarily overwritten during a new installation.
In many cases, this is an advantage in order not to lose user-defined settings even after a new installation. In your case, a problematic setting could be contained in such a file.

1) Use the 'Help -> Revert to factory settings' option.
2) Use the installation repair function (Windows)
3) Last option: reinstall.
