Scores Aren't Saving/Won't Open

• Feb 29, 2024 - 03:03

I just created a score, went to save it to the cloud and made an account to do so. When I clicked save, an error popped up saying something along the lines of "You can't save your score at this time, please try again later." My home page said that it was saved and worked fine. I closed it and when I went to re-open the file, I got another error message saying "Your score is invalid." I can see it on my home screen with a little cloud icon in the bottom-right corner which I can only assume means that it is saved online. Is there anything I can do to get it back?

Look up how to view hidden folders in Windows. There is a folder in AppData, MuseScore 4 that has cloud scores in it. You have to remove the wiggly line (yes, that's a technical term) after mscz.

I don't save to the cloud. At least not without saving to my hard drive first. Not worth the aggravation.
