Measure corruption case
Tested on Musescore 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 on macOS Sonoma 14.3 and M3 chip
On this score I provoke a file corruption if I replace the first dotted 8th note in measure 2 on the violins 1 staff by a quarter note.
If any of yours has an idea about the cause ?
Have a nice day

This file is already corrupted. First dotted 8th note in measure 2 is desynchronized with parts (changing its pitch will not be reflected in parts Violin I or Cordes)
To fix it, you need reset at least Violin I and Cordes parts.
It's difficult to understand how this bug occurred. Did you insert an empty measure at the beginning?
Developers will not be able to fix this if there is no step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce it.

Ok, so maybe there is two bugs to look for : the corruption of the file, and the ability to save it without corruption warning.
Next time I've got a corruption problems I immediately examine it carefully
I opened it in Ark (a Linux compressed file manger) and deleted the Excerpts (aka Parts) then regenerated Parts. Is this working for you? It would still be good to hear if you can remember exactly what led up to the corruption.

Thanks,
To fix it I deleted the second measure (the first one with notes) and it works,
I don't know why the corruption occured, but the file in the state I sent it have been saved without any corruption.
FWIW, W11 4.3.2
I notice that the Cordes violin part and the score violin part do not match.
