Can I revert to an earlier version of MuseScore?
After I upgraded to 4.4.3, I created a new score but it freezes and I'm unable to select a measure or do any notation at all. I use Windows 10.
I'd like to revert to an earlier version but don't know how to do this? Do I have to uninstall MuseScore altogether and download an earlier version? Will I lose my scores if I do that?
I'm in a very time-sensitive situation and I've never had this problem before.
Thanks for any and all advice...

Your best bet is to install MU3.7 Evolution that can read both MU3 & MU4 files

I have to disagree. I guess it's related to this question? https://musescore.org/en/node/371238
I'd be surprised if 4.4.3 was the cause in itself of this freeze... but rather a specific problem of your score (maybe underlying corruption or something).
Before changing versions (which have really big differences, of all kinds) let's sort this out with your score first (join it to your reply) and you can make an informed decision after that.

Yes, you linked my two threads - thank you!! I don't know how to join my score but I'm trying to figure it out. I created this score after I completed the upgrade.

I've attached the score below. Hoping this mystery can be solved.

I can open and edit this file.
Try opening Musescore, then select Help -> Revert to factory settings in the menu

The score which you attached (for Soprano and Hand Bells) contains 61 measures - all empty. I had no problem entering and saving some notes for the Soprano part.
[EDIT] I'm using Mu4.4.3:
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64,
MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.4.3-242971445, revision: eb6b367
Try the menu option: Help > Revert to factory settings
This avoids having to re-install MuseScore, and it will retain all your existing scores.
You could use the PortableApp of an earlier version.
Or uninstall the current one, then install the older version.
You won't loose scores on the process.
