How to get semi-quavers in strings and flutes to be played back clearly
These just sound like single notes - noted 1/8 note followed by 16th note at 144 bpm. Changing to staccato these parts can be heard but they shouldn't be staccato. Fast string passages are just lost.

Personally, I may have at least two scores for a piece. One for real players. And one marked however is needed to get the playback I want. MU4 tends to automatically playback everything legato. Even with the new settings, it can be impossible to overcome.
Consider turning down reverb and panning you scores in the mixer.
