How to create notation for numerous instruments?

Hello!
I have been attempting to compose a piece involving three instruments, the violin, the viola, and the violoncello. I began the piece with no complications, being a veteran user of this program, but, evidently, I am not as good as I initially believed myself to be; After composing the first section for the violin, I was ready to compose the first section for the viola, but could not discover how.

So when you created the score, you didn't tell MuseScore you wanted three instruments, so you have only a single staff per system? Don't worry, it's not too late to add staves. Add / Instrument will pop up a dialog just like the one you saw when you first created the score, and you can add more instruments now.
