Playback Feature Suggestion: Allow certain instruments to play through a breath mark/ceasura
This is purely a playback issue, not a problem for general notation. I want to allow a snare drum roll to persist through a breath mark noted in the rest of the instruments (after a fermata). The best example of this in music is the snare roll in the Star-Spangled Banner that persists thorough the ensemble breath after "banner yet wave". I know the current playback system doesn't support this, and I understand this would likely be difficult to implement (or at least difficult for percussion roll playback). As a user who uses the playback regularly for percussion education supports I'd find great use in it.

Snare roll plays through a breath mark on my 4.5.2 if the snare notes are tied. Please post a part of a score that doesn't work for you.

A breath mark is different to a caesura. A caesura would normally affect all instruments; a breath mark only affects wind instruments and vocals.

Both are implemented the same though in MuseScore, currently.
Also a breath mark should 'steal' time from the previous note rather than causing a pause after it, a long time ago I suggested doing that by allowing for a negative time in its settings.
