MS4.5.2: Staff Type options disabled for linked staff
No matter what I try ... the Staff Type menu is disabled for a newly created linked staff.
Before delving deeper I thought I'd ask if anyone else has hit this wall.

Not grayed out on mine. But I don't know what you are trying to set up.

Some instruments can only have one type of staff. Piano is an example. At a guess, percussion (some of it anyway?) might be too?

Thanks guys. Unbeknownst to me, somehow the single staff was a Piano instrument. Thanks your the collective advice I switched the staff's instrument to Mandolin, that enabled the menu and allowed it to work.
