Score layout - choral and piano
As you'll see from the attached, my piano is being shown way below the vocal parts on the pages where there is only enough room for one system. E.g. page 5. Can I get it to show just below instead, leaving (intentionally) a lot of space at the bottom.?

Go to Format>Style>Page and you will see that the Factor for distance above/below bracket has been set to 2.5. If you click on the curly reset to default arrow you will see that large distance decrease with the setting at its default of 1.2.
You can probably also reduce the maximum stave distance below the default of 20.
You can also right click on a page and select Page settings. Then reduce the staff spacing. I set it to .054. Then on the last page, I used a spacer from the layout palette to bring the piano part up to the rest of the parts.
