An apology, and thanks
When I first began working with MuseScore Studio, coming from Finale, I had nothing but complaints about the differences, and how underpowered MSS seemed to be. I was wrong. After really digging into the program, and doing dozens of 3-4 page barbershop scores (what I work on the most) I find that MSS can do just about everything I need. And in some ways (primarily lyrics and spacing) MSS is better than Finale. There's my apology.
None of this could have been done without the one-on-one help I've received on this forum. I won't name names, for fear of missing someone. You have all been terrific, and I thank you.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled litany of complaints and requests.

Believe me, I totally get it. I really tried to like MU3. But never did. I write for playback. MU3 never cut it. There are many things I wish MU4 did. Many. Never going to happen. You do what you gotta do, my friend.

I find it very strange that some people are still clinging to MU3, as though MU4 ruined everything. MU3 was good, considering it was free, but still way behind the likes of Finale and Sibelius. MU4 is an industry leader.
