C in tenor line is colored

• Dec 21, 2014 - 18:39

I have just downloaded the beta version (MuseScore v.2.00). I opened one of my old files, a choral in 4 parts, one part per staff. In the Tenor line, all the C's (C2 or "middle C") are colored olive green. I can't seem to find how to change them back to black. Where is the control for coloring the notes in this new version?

Definitely sounds like the note is being flagged as out of range. This is not a new feature, BTW. Perhaps you had turned off that warning previously then forgot. But middle C should not be out of range for tenor voice. Are you sure it's middle C? C2 is a very low note out of range even for basses normally. Feel free to post the score you are having problems with.

Well, I suppose it could be that MuseScore is flagging the colored note as being outside the tenor range; but in that case this beta version of MuseScore has a bug because middle C is definitely within the tenor range and MuseScore is not flagging the D above it nor the B below it. BTW all the C's in that space are colored, not just one.

I've attached the file.
