Adding tablatur staff to a normal staff as a (linked/additional) staff is not a tablatur staff by default
- new score, add instrument, "Electric Guitar"
- select the staff just added in the left pane
- select "Electric Guitar [Tablature]"
- click 'Add Staff' or 'Add Linked Staff'
Expected result: the Tablatur staff is a real tablature staff (Tablature, Tab. 6-str common)
Actual Result: it is a normal staff (Treble clef 8vb, Normal)

What are you doing in step 2?
To create a linked tablature staff select the staff created in step 1 and click "Add Linked Staff". The staff type can be selected in the pulldown menu "Stafftype".
OK, see that now, but it should come as the proper staff type by default, just like it does when adding it as an instrument, shouldn't it?
MuseScore does not guess/change the staff type when creating a linked staff. The original staff is simply copied.
But ok, the only use case i see is a tablatur/pitched staff combination and mscore could flip the staff type for you.
OK, so let's turn it into a feature request?
