Add symbols
There aren't enough symbols available. Rather than trying to hard code every possible symbol, it would be nice to be able to add more symbols from image files. I'm not sure if this would be better added to the code or implemented in a plug-in as I am not familiar with the development of the project, but it is a big reason not to switch from finale or the like.

You can import an image in MuseScore by dragging it in the score.

The MuseScore handbook is a wiki. Feel free to add in this information in at a place that makes sense for yourself, as well as for other MuseScore users.
