Creo ser un gran programador en Matlab, pero no en Qt. He probado un billón de editores de partituras y musescore me ha dejado muy sorprendido. Quisiera ayudar. ¿Cómo?

I use Matlab as a programmer but not Qt. I've tried a billion score music programs and I think musescore is really nice. I would like to help, but how?

Help is welcome. Here are some tips that come to mind:

  • Look for something that needs improving that you are interested in improving
  • Start will something small
  • Develop in the open (release early and often) and be open to feedback
  • Focus on non-controversial improvements (especially to begin with)
  • Sign up for the developer mailing list: http://musescore.org/mailing-list
  • If you are stuck, ask for help. Include lots of specifics and details in your questions as well as your overall goal

Development-related discussion and announcements usually take place in English on the mailing list. I can usually read and understand Spanish although I'm not able to write it. If you are not comfortable reading English there is always http://translate.google.com/
