Ubuntu 10.04, mscore 0.9.6+dfsg-1ubuntu~lucid1
problem with using ctrl-c,-v on bunch of notes selected by shift+mouse, it suddenly takes 90% of CPU and sometimes there is a huge memory leak. I've got 4GB RAM.

Next problem occurs while I try to remove a note by del, there is a nearly certain crash.

Comments

Is it possible to mention what MuseScore version you use?
We also need the exact steps to reproduce the problem otherwise it's nearly impossible to fix it.

musescore 0.9.6 revision 2613

1st error :

use of (copy/past shortcut) ctrl-c, -v on selection of notes takes most of CPU until the musescore is closed. Sometimes there is a memory leak, which fill 4GB memory. I had to kill app before it has cosumed swap too.

Title crash, memory leak Crash on copy paste

You can upgrade to a more recent version from the musescore stable ppa. See [[nodetitle:Download]] .

Regarding the bug report, does it happen on every score or just one? If it's just one, can you attach it and give the measure numbers you are trying to copy paste ?

I tried some copy/paste actions again on few scores that I've made. CPU load seem fine but musescore crashes.

Now I can't manage this memory leak again, because app crashes everytime I start it.
