I am only one day old ( I am 88 years old) on this program and I am impressed. I made my first score, importing MIDI from my Sonar X3, and it worked well.
For one, to me unknown reason.while my score is for violin,flute and piano, my score has Piano, Violin for the first line, Marimba, Flute for the second and Piano,Piano for the third line. Trying to correct this to only violin,flute and piano, I can not seem to find a way. Trying HELP directed me to Forum.
Would anyone help, please, I have to submit this score on Saturday this week. The score Sonar produces is very limited.

70 years difference between us! ;-) Welcome aboard. You can change the instrument by right-clicking on the instrument name (or on an empty spot on the staff). Choose "Staff Properties…" from the context menu, and then click the "Change Instrument…" button on the right in the window that opens up. Does that answer your question?

Thanks, of course it is working. The 70 years difference does not mean anything, just that you young-ones know more than we do...
