Can't Tie chords accross barline
I'm on windows xp 64 here using .9.6.2. Im' trying to tie a chord over a barline. However instead placing the second note above or below the first like it does normally, when going across a barline it replaces it.

Enter the chord before the barline, for example a quarter C E G and don't go over the barline.
Then enter the chord after the barline C E G. Then click the first C and press +, same for E and G.
Alternately, you can create the entire chord before the bar line, then exit note entry mode, then click on a note in the chord, then select a new duration for the note (for example, change it from a quarter note to a dotted quarter note). Musescore will automatically create a tied chord on the other side of the bar line. You can then change the duration of the second chord to whatever you want by again clicking on a note in the chord (while not in note entry mode) and selecting a new duration.
