Context: Version 2.0.1 retrieved and installed via Synaptic from PPA under Linux Mint 17.1

Steps:

  1. Start MuseScore
  2. Open "Plugins | Plugin Creator"
  3. In the Plugin Creator, select "Help | Manual" or the equivalent toolbar button
  4. A window pane labelled "Manual" opens to the right of the text pane

Result: the "Manual" pane is empty, with no text whatsoever. Pressing its [Home] button has no effect.

Note: It makes no difference whether the manual is called for with or without a plug-in loaded or entered in the textual pane.

Comments

Linux Mint uses the packages targeted at Ubuntu.

Anybody else has the same issue under Ubuntu or any of its derivative? In fact, I would guess it should affect (more or less) any Linux installation.

(And, yes, I understand it has probably nothing to do with coding, but there is no "Packaging" component in the issue properties; "Code" seems to me the least wrong).

Title No plug-in manual from Plugin Creator under Linux Mint No plug-in manual from Plugin Creator under Linux (Mint?)

Title changed to reflect the possibility it is not just a Linux Mint issue, but a more generic Linux issue.

Bumping, as the issue is still present with ver 2.0.2 (for the precision: 2.0.2+dfsg-1ubuntu1~trusty2) under Linux Mint 17.2

Please note that the Launchpad PPA page ( https://launchpad.net/~mscore-ubuntu ) directs to send comments and bugs reports to musescore.org, so this IS the proper place to file bug reports about this distribution.
