Text Low Tie issue
Hi, gang!!!
I'm not sure about the right english name to the text low tie (the curved tie between two syllables we often use on lyrics) and I don't know if this issue is just on my PC, but... I have to click three times to get that symbol from the special characters palette which appears at the bottom left of the screen when we are entering the lyrics.
Is it normal? ???

None of those technics work on my PC (Pentium 4, WinXP SP3).
I just got the "synalepha" clicking 3 times on the special characters pallette.
If I click once, nothing happen. If I click twice, nothing happen.
That's what it is.

Well, it's not enough to "click twice". You have to actually double-click - meaning, do it fast enough for your operating system to register it as an actual double click. Same as any other character on that or any other palette in MuseScore. There's nothing special or different about that character.
