Can't tie accidental over barline
I'm in Bb and want to input two eight note Bb's one on 'four and' and one on one.
These two eight notes should be tied to sound like a quarter note.
I can't get them to tie.

MuseScore won't tie to the next note unless the next note is the same pitch. The trouble in this particular instance is there is no way to enter a D flat initially (you have to input D natural and then add the flat). As a work-around input the two D flats, exit note entry mode, and then add the tie.

Okay thanks for the Info.
I also figured out I can input the note as a quarter straight away then the tie is there and if I select it and add the flat then it works also.
Anyway, I hope that at some point MuseScore can flat a tied note or tie a flat note in note input mode.

I followed your proposal to tie the accidental manually but now something weird happens. If I input a note a bar later that is the same pitch it gets tied to the first note that I was trying to tie. See screenshot
