Is it a tuplet of 3 8th or shorter? If so these 3 are beamed and so a bracket isn't needed, but if you want one, select the little 3 and then in inspector change bracket type from Automatic to Bracket.
And in the future please go to the forum first rather than entering a bug or feature request (which this clearly is not) to the issue tracker.
