Unable to change nominal duration
I'm posting this here instead of the bug forum, since it seems likely that I'm just misunderstanding--but after lots of searching and reading, I haven't found a solution.
I find that I'm able to change the actual duration of measures, but when I try to change the nominal duration, I'm unable to. I'm working on a piece that has many measures following a pattern of 4-4, 4-4, 2-4. While I can input all the music correctly by changing the actual duration of every third measure, the players won't see the time signature actually change in the score.
Any suggestions would be most welcome! (I'm sure it's right under my nose....)
Using version 0.9.6.3 on a Vista PC.

I knew it would be something that simple. For some reason, even as I read that page in the handbook, I missed the fact that you could drag and drop the time signatures. I had double- and triple-clicked them, right clicked them, added new ones, and never discovered how to actually APPLY them. Sheesh.... Thanks!
