PDF creation extension v 9.6.3 build 3507
After creating and saving my score, I did "save as" and selected .pdf. However, file was saved with .mscz extension.
I was able to open this file with my pdf viewer.
Would seem to be an issue with extension naming in the "Save As" dialog.
(Closed session and retried - no joy.)
Running on Windows XP SP3.
This software keeps getting better and better. Please keep it up.

It is a problem with Qt (the framework that allows MuseScore to run on multiple operating systems from the same base of code).
