slur
I think this program is excellent and have had very few problems. That said, is there a quick way to place a slur above the stave. I am currently selecting a note , pressing S, double click on the resulting slur, and moving each of the 4 points from below the stave to above it. Is there a quicker way? I cannot locate any relevant documentation

select the slur and press "x" on the keyboard to flip direction

I have tried to manually adjust beams and so far failed.
In a 2/4 bar I have, rep [ quaver, semiquaver rest , semiquaver] [ quaver, semiquaver rest , semiquaver].
The program places the beam connecting the semiquaver to the succeeding quaver. I would wish to connect it to the preceding quaver. I have managed to remove the beam that connected the semi quaver to the succeeding quaver by clicking the "start beam " on the succeeding quaver. How do I tell it to place a new beam across the semiquaver rest to the following semiquaver.
