I use MuseScore daily on Windows Vista 32 bits and I can't reproduce this problem. So it's for sure a deep one.
What's your soundcard ? Is the driver up to date?

On another computer this doessn't happen, so maybe there is something wrong on my soundcard driver.
Soundcard should be AC97
Are you able to reproduce in the nightly builds?
