2-bar repeats
Hi, thanks for muse score which can do a lot!
Muse score offers one-bar-repeat signs, but not two-bar repeats (the following link shows first the "one bar repeat" sign, then the "two bar repeat":

This would be a very useful feature for writing for rock/pop/jazz rhythm section .
A lot of Rhythm Section Grooves that are being used for almost an entire section of a song consist of one-bar or two-bar patterns that repeat (at least rhythmically, even when they are sequenced through a chord progression that does not repeat every 2 measures).
Having the two-bar-repeat would enable arrangers to write cleaner rhythm section parts which are easier to read and thus lead to good performance more quickly.

As well, it would be terrific to be able to put a number over the double repeat sign to suggest, say, repeat previous 8 bars. I am used to this from hand written notation.

Is this taken care of in the forthcoming 2.0 release?

You commonly see these symbols in the Jazz Real Books... Check out some of Chick Corea's tunes in Real Book Volume 1: Sea Journey and Space Circus. Sun Ra's Brainville uses the same 2-bar repeat symbol.
It's also useful in drum notation and is used in several practice books that I have used. In drum notation, I've seen the a number greater than 2 used for multiple bar repeats for patterns to save page space.

Note it is already *possible* to create this type of notation; it is just clumsier than it need be. For lead sheets, you could simply use the one-bar repeat symbol and add a "2" above as text or via the symbol palette, which is simple enough, but that's actually only one measure and thus won't work in scores. Plus it isn't quite right visually, although it should get the job done. If you need it to really take up two measures, and/or want it to look more "official" (two slashes, visible bar lines) put one bar repeats in adjacent measures and manually drag or nudge them together until they align "just right" (an idea I stole from here ). There are issues with the workaround too - you have to re-do the manual alignment if the score is later reformatted - but it's nice to know the option is there.
But yes, adding true two-bar (and, arguably, 4) would be a welcome improvement. See #10220: Add a two and four measure (multi-measure) repeat sign with playback, the issue report I stole the workaround from. Hopefully this will be implemented for 2.0.
