Sounds like you are encountering some sort of difficulty, but it isn't clear what. Please use Help / Ask for Help from within MuseScore to post a more specific question to the support forum, including a copy of your score and precise steps to reproduce the problem.
Your attachment didn't work for some reason. Anyhow, that score was created with a very old version of MuseScore, some glitches are normal when loading into more recent versions. What I see when I follow your steps is mostly normal - the blue is how we show the clef / key / time signature in continuous view. Only odd thing it the way the instrument name is displayed, and this is due to the age of the score you are dealing with. You can fix it by right clicking the staff, going to Staff Properties, and hitting Change Instrument to set the instrument (just select Bb Clarinet again). This will update the way the name is stored to be consistent with how MuseScore does things these days, and then the name will display properly in continuous view.

Related to #31611: Editing part names with an accidental don't show your edit?
Hi, I'm having this too, only in my case it's Bb Clarinet, in this score I downloaded the other day: https://musescore.com/user/60446/scores/536741
Repro:
- Open the score and switch to Continuous View.
- Drag the score to the left.
All staves go blue up to the time signature, so do the instrument names, and the page number is rendered as #nn (see attached).
Hope this helps,
Duncan

Hi Marc, thanks very much for clearing that up and giving such a neat fix. Regards, Duncan :)
