Result: Instrument names and grand staves disappear (everything is just bass clefs) - undo doesn't work properly either. 1) Open 'Empty Staves' in MuseScore Nightly Build for 2.0.0 (3953).
2) Hide Empty Staves.
Result: Instrument names and grand staves disappear (everything is just bass clefs) - undo doesn't work properly either.
