"Hide instrument name if there is only 1 instrument" doesn't work if there is only one visible instrument but others exist

Here's a trivial sample score. I just added three instruments (violin, uke, uke tab) and then hid two. I made sure I had "Hide instrument name if there is only 1 instrument" option checked, and I still see "Violin" and "Vn." in the score, even in the display at this URL: https://musescore.com/user/6353701/scores/1531511

The only workaround I know is to change the instrument names to be "".

Hopefully not By Design, but if it is then I'll happily change this to a feature request since it's annoying to have to null out the instrument name just to get it not to show on the single-instrument printouts.

Or maybe there's another way to get what I'm trying to do?

What do you mean "single instrument prinouts"? I'm fpguessing you are hiding staves rather than using the Parts facility - File / Parts. But that's not the right method. Use the Parts facility and all should be well. Hiding staves is intended for other purposes, not for generating parts.

Okay, thanks for the tip about the Parts facility. You're correct that I was using visibility for that.

I confirmed that the setting works for Parts, but surprisingly it wasn't the default. Not a big deal, though.

It *is* the default for parts, as well as for full scores - assuming you didn't change it in the score. That is, the full score would normally have that option set unless you messed with it. Then parts would also have the option set. So normally, you don't ever need to look at or touch that option - everything just works.
