Dealing with Tempo, rehearsal, time signature and similar marks on several systems in a large score

Hi, fellows,

I hope this question is not a double! After surfing around the forums, I didn't find anything similar, but if so, please point me to the right place!

I was wondering how you deal with general marks that are supposed to appear over various instrument groups in a large score. E.g. I want the marks to appear over the woodwind, the brass, the percussion and the string section. Is there a automatism to achieve such a functionality or can it only be done manually at the moment? If so, which type of text do you recommend to use, esp. when it is a rehearsal mark?

Quite similar to this it the problem with large time signatures that are written OVER a system (instrument section). So far I was unsuccessful to find a handy way to do that. Has anybody of you experience using large time signatures? And is there anything special that has to be observed, when it comes to parts (and the time signature should be shown on the staff again)?

Thanks for your inputs!

Just add them manually as staff text over sub-groups - it's the only way for now. You can mark them invisible in the corresponding parts to avoid duplication with the regular system version.

For time signatures, you should be able to place those form the Symbols palettew (press "Z" to display). I have very rarely seen scores printed that way, but it's definitely the exception. As far as I know, they are still displayed normally on parts; the between-staff time signatures are for the benefit of the conductor only.
