playback feature not working

There is no sound when I am working on a score. I have checked my speakers and they are working on every other program with no issues. The playback function as well as the sound as notes are inputted is not working. I have also tried restarting my computer and reinstalling the program with no luck. The last time I used MuseScore the sound was working fine so I'm not sure what could've happened since then. Please help!
