Line artifacts
Hi All,
Attached is a screenshot of a vocal score on opening. You'll notice a horizontal line directly underneath the text. When I move a note, frame or change views the artifact disappears. It also affects printing and PDFs if I print or generate a file directly upon opening the file...

Can you attach the MSCZ file showing the problem? It's difficult to help based on a picture.

Thanks. It looks like it might somehow be an out-of-place melisma? At least it seems relatively harmless. I have a feeling it's a bug somehow related to the frames and spacers, but somebody else will probably be able to figure it out.

Yep, it looks like you are right in terms of underscore/melisma bug.
Actually on the third line of music it is most obvious. The two dashes connecting the syllables for be-gin-ning are way out of alignment when you first open the score. After moving something, they jump back into the right position...strange!
The problem is definitely the melisma line and the presence of the horizontal frame in the middle of the system. I can reproduce the problem in a simple example, and have now filed this bug as #95051: Bad melisma layout after horizontal frame in middle of system.
