More newbie
I am fine with the program, a song writing whiz until i reach the end of the first eight bars then no matter where I look I can find no way to progress to the next staff.
I'm fine as long as my work does not require more than 8 bars.
(yeah I know, I ain't no computer whiz :-)

Tried to add a measure to the last set and it went to a new line even though I didn't put a break in
Working with 4 measures to a line and all of a sudden can only run 3 measures any Help????

MuseScore automatically moves a measure to the next line on the previous line using the current settings for scale (under Layout->Page Settings) or note spacing (Style->Edit General Style->Measure). So you would want to reduce one of those settings to squeeze more measures on a line if you find you run into this often. Or, if it's only occasionally, you can just select the measures and use Layout->Add Less Stretch, which I *think* has the effect of reducing the note spacing for the selected measures.
