Latest version of MuseScore reaches a certain stage of installation then says there has been a problem creating a temporary file that is needed and then closes itself down. Have tried three times. Now can't access MuseScore3 files on MuseScore2 so can't get into current and recent projects. Help welcome please.

32 or 64 bit? The issue sounds like something related to the update from unsupported 32-bit MuseScore 3.0.1 to MuseScore 3.0.3(4).
Workaround (and probably the only solution) is to uninstall current version of MuseScore 3 manually and install the update from the .msi.
