update 3.5 crashes immediately
i open the application and asks me if i want to restore my session. weather i put yes or no it opens and loads, then instantly crashes and closes.

I can confirm, that in several cases after MS has crashed it is not possible to restart the program with option restore last session. MS will crash again...

I did, but it crashed!
I'll de-instal MS 3.5 completly. Only the latest 2.3.2 will remain, because this is my working horse

Where does it crash? What is the last message on the splash screen?

Sorry, but I can't remeber it. Meanwhile I removed 3.5 completly including a registry clean an installed it again, but there are still crashed. I working on the root cause. Seems as if it has something to do with Assignment of Parts and corrupt staff data...

I deleted all related MS files including preferences before re-instal the programm

So you have a corrupt score. After a factory reset MuseScore should not crash, unless you try to load that corrupt score again
