I updated Musescore and now it keeps crashing when I open it up.
I have a MacBook and I installed the update a few minutes ago. I tried running the application multiple times. It opens, but every time the ‘recent scores’ tab opens up it immediately crashes. If anyone could help me that would be great.
Thanks

This did not work unfortunately. My next attempt was going to be deleting it and reinstalling it

It very rarely does...
Maybe yet another case of #278817: Start center crashes MuseScore if there is no Internet connection and/or #275837: MuseScore crashes during start-up while displaying "Start center"

Or this one #308860: Drag and drop a breath & pause symbol from the score to a custom palette crashes the program, including the opening of the 3.5 if such a symbol was added in a previous version in custom palette if the user had created a custom palette in a previous version containing a breath & pause symbol ( after drag/drop it in this palette)
In this case, Revert To Factory Settings via Command line is necessary: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings#Via_command_l…
