Roman Numeral Analysis Issue
So I have the most recent version, 3.5 and I am trying to work with some roman numerals. However, in my text options there is no roman numeral analysis option. Am I missing something? Feels like it shouldn't be this complicated. TIA for any help.

I would set a shortcut to it in the preferences.

There is a separate RNA (Roman Numeral Analysis) option on my windows system's Add->Text menu so it seems there must be a problem with Macs. Maybe another Mac user can confirm this.
There is the option of adding a shortcut for Roman Numeral analysis so you can still use it without needing the menu until this is sorted out.
Finally, the link provided above is under chord symbols in the handbook, but it tells the user to select RNA from the menu.

Yes, I can confirm, I don't see this on Mac. I've been simply using a shortcut, so I haven't looked in the menu for quite a while.
Revert MuseScore to factory settings. I guess you're using some custom workspace with the corresponding menus disabled, probably MDL, right? See #292131: MDL workspace missing menu items and #296473: MDL: Add > Text > Roman Numeral Analysis is absent

I didn't think about workspaces. I don't even see the workspaces toolbar in the picture. If you turn that on and change workspaces, you may be able to avoid factory reset (which removes all of your customizations).
Revert to factory Settings did it. Must have had a weird setup I forgot about. thanks for the help. I should be able to get it figured out from here. Thanks all.
