latest version 3.5 is a nightmare!

• Aug 30, 2020 - 02:09

I updated my musescore from the prior beta which worked like a dream to this recent update from a week ago and I am being plagued by the devil! It sucks shit! It doesn't remember midi in & out settings. The biggest pita is that is creates a big gap in the staff after about two staff lines and I can't get the staffs to connect to one cohesive page. This update needs to be flagged and taken down and please give us an easy link to a prior download where we can simply install the application without having to be a programmer. Thanks and sorry for the harshness.

The workaround for the MIDI issue is to change some other setting also, then the change gets noticed.

The gap you describe is probably an issue with the specific score, like an element that was inadvertently dragged out of position. If you can't find and fix the issue yourself based on that description, then attach the score - just a relevant excerpt - and we can advise better.

If you are having any other sort of issues, please explain them as well, with samples score / precise steps to reproduce, and we can investigate.

Can't get Midi input into MuseScore 3.5, it doesn't seem to work here, it will not save the Midi In/Out selection.
Other apps on the computer work fine.
