Create custom time signature dialog box - no acknowledgement of success - can yield multiple instances of time signature

  1. Time Signatures : more : Create Time Signature
    (Dialog box appears and side menu collapses - hiding list of custom time signatures)
  2. Create new time signature and click 'Add'
  3. Nothing happens. Dialog box remains open, no 'new' time signature appears
    3a. click add again, and then again - still nothing
  4. Close dialog box using box corner X
  5. Click 'more' on Time Signature pallet and find three versions of the new time signature.

This could definitely use some work. You need to make sure the "More" box that appears isn't covered by the create time signature window so you can see the time signature added to that box. It doesn't close so you have the option of creating more times signatures, but I think this box should close since I would expect a user to use the newly created time signature immediately.

Yes. I actually mentioned this when we were porting over the Palettes widget to MS4. I Think it has been addressed but will need to see it to be sure.

Regarding time signature creation / editing: We need to overhaul this completely from a UX point of view. It is extremely complex and difficult to understand. I feel we should combine the three or four different places where Time Sigs are edited / created and combine them into one, much simpler thing.
