To stop playing clicking on the play button on the upper menu either on the reproductions panel doesn't work. Playing can only be stopped by Esc taste. Thank you in advance for your help

Not by the space bar? I'm pretty sure that worked for me yesterday, same version, same OS

Yes sometimes it works, sometimes not. Never had that issue in V2.

Start playing with the space bar yes, stop playing not, only by Escape
Are you by chance in loop playback mode? There are definitely some known corner cases where on particular scores, depending on where you start playback, this can happen. So far I don't think anyone has a good understanding of why. But in order to investigate your particular case, we'd need you to attach the score you are having trouble with and give precise instructions for reproducing the problem.

If we would be able to give precise instructions to reproduce the problem we wouldn't have classified it as randomly
I get that so far you haven't found the steps to reproduce. But almost certainly, the steps are out there waiting to be discovered, so I'm just encouraging those people who are seeing this to make that effort if they want to see the issue fixed.

Thank you! the issue appears by loop play back mode indeed. But utterly random. I attach a score where, for instance, repeating compas 12 (or another one) the issue sometimes happens, sometimes not. Thank you again

Some clue?
I don't get why the status is "needs info"
If it is because only reproducible bugs are accepted here and not random ones, then just say so honestly and refuse that people encode bugs appearing randomly
The question that led to that status had been answered meanwhile
More questions may follow though...
