Steps to reproduce:
1) open any score
2) pick any preset metronome mark or metric modulation
3) copy + paste or delete + ctrl z the note(s)
4) notes should now look smaller than normal
5) upload to musescore.com
6) edited note(s) should now be not visible

Can you attach your actual score? I know that copy/paste of symbols doesn't really work correctly, as the font information isn't preserved. So you can end up with a symbol from a different font than you started with, and depending on what fonts are involved, I could imagine the one that is actually used that not being supported on musescore.com. Really, it would be best to fix the copy/paste issue to begin with though. See #296212: Dynamics: formatting lost when character copied/cut/pasted in same object, perhaps other reports too.

quaver = crotchet has a workaround, vice versa does not (as far as I can tell)

Why that other glyph is not visible on musescore.com is something to report there, nothing we could fix here I guess. Seeoms some font incompalibility.
It is not from the Musical (Text) Font Leland (Text), but probably from Edwin.
